Google announced Android 4.1 - Jelly Bean


As we all have a good savoy of the Icecream sandwich Google announcedits next dish Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.The next major version of Android isannounced by Google at the I/O.Android 4.1 puts new and plenty new features and high performance.


The main differences which are notable and which vary from the earlier versions are as follows.

Project Butter:

This even sounds like one of the flavour of Android but the whole development of Jelly bean is code named under project butter.The moment of the UI constant 60 frames per second,which makes the feel smoothestas smooth as butter.

Keyboard and voice input:

The keyboard is most improved, with even better and mst accurate predictive input and extended dictionary for smooth typing capabilities.
Voice typing is perfect as its offline i.e you don't need data connection to work.

Camera

Camera UI gives the most new experience in the Jelly bean it has got swipe functionality,and even more u can delete the images by just swiping them off the screen.
You can even download the Jelly bean right now as a developers preview at the developers website.

The Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update will given to the Galaxy Nexus, Nexus S, and Motorola Xoom tablet in mid July. Google is also releasing a PlatformDevelopment Kit (PDK) for OEMs and chipset makers so that they have access to some key elements of the update months before the announcement of the Android update to facilitate a faster update cycle for non Nexus devices.
